Initial smile view. Patient was unhappy with her smile. Peg laterals are evident. Retracted view. Radiographs demonstrating open contacts of laterals. Preparation after removal of retraction cord. Stump shade is very close to desired final shade. View of preparation on solid model. Wanted to establish a finish line to allow for a proper emergence profile Immediate post-cementation. An LT ingot was selected. Bonding and Ceramic treatment was completed with Surpass and Interface (Apex). Light cure resin cement (NX-3 Clear - Kerr) was used to adhesively lute the veneers. 48 hour post-op. Was happy with the color and incisal effects of the laterals relative to the centrals, as well as the improved proportionality. Conclusion: The palatal position and open interproximal contacts of the laterals allowed for a straightforward, minimally invasive approach. In summary: e.max Press - Shade A2 - LT ingot Bonding Agent - Surpass (Apex) Ceramic Primer - Interface (Apex) Resin Cement - NX-3 Clear Light Cure (Kerr) #CosmeticDentistry #emax #BondingAgent #Surpass #Apex #CeramicPrimer #ResinCement #Kerr #Dentist #Dentistry #DentalStudents #DentaltownMessageBoards #DentalOnlineCE #DentalLearningOnline #DentaltownOnlineCourses #ArthurRVolkerDDS
