Troubles of Teething Ugh! Teething! Róisín cut her first teeth when we were away, but they didn’t seem to trouble her at the time. A couple of weeks later, and it’s a different story! Although relatively content within herself, she certainly needs more hugs than usual, plus hundreds of bibs and muslins for all the extra dribble and snot! And I’ll just gloss over the nappies… I’ve tried teething powder, gels, toys, cool cucumber, a dessert spoon, even liquid paracetamol to help ease her pain and slight temperature. Cost me a fortune! I can confirm that nothing works. Apart from cuddles – which you can get for free! So for the next couple of weeks, I’ll be found with my arms wrapped around Róisín, slightly damp from the dribble. And a replenishing my bank balance.
