(Truth in love) Eph. 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Maintaining the unity of the faith must be based on an active love which seeks to resolve problems and reconcile differences by mutual loyalty and obedience to Christ and His Word. This means that holding and proclaiming New Testament truth in love have priority over loyalty to Christian institutions, traditions, individual people, or the visible church. Any endeavor to maintain fellowship or unity must never in validate the Word of God or be based on compromise of biblical truth. Faithfulness to Scripture may involve separating from a part of the visible church which has become unfaithful to Christ and apostolic doctrine (2:20). Subsequently the Holy Spirit will initiate the formation of a new visible church loyal to Christ and the original gospel truth. Prayer Father thank you for your Holy Word continue to grant us the ability to speak your truth in love that the hearer me grow up in Him in all things, Christ being the head. Continue to bless us that we may maintain the unity one faith and holding fast to the gospel truth. In Jesus name Amen. Continue to fight the good fight of faith!
