Trying to get over feeling nauseous because: Our master bedroom is the basement. Its a nice, bright (during the day) finished, happy basement... At night it is very dark--which I also love. Unfortunately, there are piles of clean clothes around right now AND the girls came down last night--in the dark--because of the awesome thunder storm. Thats not the gist of what bothered me. You see, you have to get out of bed and walk all the way across the basement in the dark to turn on the light that spans the ceiling. For that reason Matt preps for work in the dark so as to not wake me, turning off his clock in the dark (remember that part), getting towels, clothes--at most as he carries a small flashlight. For some reason the bathroom light wont turn on right now. The problem?? Just after hearing Matt Heller leave the house this morning, as the morning light began to fill the basement I looked to the alarm clock to see what time it was. I missed the clock. I missed the clock because there, next to it, on top of the Chiefs reflective PT vest, sat a WOLF SPIDER as big as my HAND!!! No joke! No exaggeration! I managed to stay calm as I sent the girls upstairs to wake Ryan Heller who proceeded to beat it with his shoe--which left it the size of a quarter!!! Oh. No. Just no.
