June 17, 1957 Elvis completed still photography for Jailhouse Rock. June 17, 1959 After a press conference Elvis was mobbed sitting at a sidewalk café. Elvis spent the rest of his days sleeping and went to all kind of clubs at night. June 17, 1960 Elvis wrote to the U.S. Army and requested that he would be placed on standby rather than on active reserve, as his work required him to travel a lot. Accompanied by Hall Wallis and Shirley MacLaine Elvis attended a birthday party for Dean Martin on the Paramount lot. June 17, 1962 After long negotiations between Elvis and Priscillas parents in which Elvis had convinced them to allow Priscilla to fly to Los Angeles, Priscilla finally arrived from Germany for a 2 week visit. June 17, 1968 Elvis reported to rehearsals at the NBC studios in Burbank, California, at 1:00 p.m. for a meeting with Billy Goldenberg, Steven Binders musical arranger. June 17, 1975 Elvis was release from the hospital. June 17, 1977 Elvis performed at the Southwest Missouri State University Hammons Center, Springfield, Missouri.
