Tune into CNN tomorrow morning -- at 8:00 AM to see if Army Week Partner: Purple Heart Homes Co-founder Dale Beatty makes the top 10 Heroes Dale Beatty was the first CNN Hero nominee for 2013. There are now 23 other great individuals doing extraordinary things to make the world a better place, but really -- we want Dale Beatty to be our CNN Hero. The announcement will be made by CNN tomorrow morning - Thursday, Oct 10 at 8:00 AM. We have been waiting for this announcement since Dale was selected in February as a nominee. If he is selected as one of the top 10 -- Purple Heart Homes will received $50,000 -- so will the other nine. The winner will be selected on votes and if he is selected -- we will need you to go to CNN Heroes to cast your vote for Dale with the following language -- Dale Beatty and Purple Heart Homes is my CNN Hero. The top 10 will be flown to Los Angeles in December by CNN for a live prime time broadcast -- when the 2013 Hero will be announced. The winner will receive $250,000 for their charity. Again -- nothing against the other nine, but we want our hero Dale Beatty to win that too -- not that we are greedy -- but we want to help a lot more Service Connected Disabled Veterans with their housing solutions.
