Friday Sept 19 @ noon-8pm: Drawing Room (art studio/cowork space) is hosting Park(ing) Day, where 30 artists will transform 10 parking meter spaces along 97 street into creative human spaces, including a mini-golf course, a tea party, and a sound installation! https://facebook/events/1479851268929708/ Friday Sept 19 @ 3-8pm and Sat Sept 20 @ 9am-2pm: City of Edmonton Sustainable Transportation will be hosting What The B*ke Is Going On?! They are setting up a temporary bikeway with a cycle track, bike boulevard and contra-flow lane along 83 Avenue between the Old Strathcona Farmers Market and 106 street so that Edmontonians can see, try and learn about the new kinds of bike lanes that could be installed on proposed new bike routes in the Citys core. edmonton.ca/transportation/cycling_walking/cycling.aspx
