Two great happenings: 1. the client of one of my agents last year bought an REO (foreclosed home), with some challenges to the well purity. Seller gave an allowance. . . the well collapsed the day they took possession. They have hauled water for a year, since suing Fannie would cost them $30K just to start. Today that agent and I loaned them $$ to hook up to city water. Like I say, we treat clients agents and staff like family. 2. My Rotary Club asked me to go to a high school freshman orientation to help Interact Club students recruit new members for their service club (last year they raised $800 for a poor village in Guatamala). What delight to see bright energetic kids committed to making a difference. They even took a kid just newly in from a tiny school in Eastern Oregon under their wing and mad him feel welcome. The world will be a better place because of kids like these!
