Two night ago we pulled this little sweetie Nena from the manhattan shelter. She is a ten year old 4 pound Chihuahua mix. Her new name is Josie. She was said to have no mobility in her back legs. Upon arrival at her medical foster home, it was learned that can can walk and stand, just very very slowly and stiff. She was taken right to the specialist where they are trying steroids and laser therapy and lots of physical therapy at home with her foster mom. More testing will be done this week as we are hoping to get to the bottom of whats going on with her as she has a very anxious new Mommy awaiting her arrival. Let all send good vibes and love to this beauty. She also had a spa day, seriously, as if she could get any cuter!!!!! We love you Josie
