UMass Dartmouth Charlton College of Business Professor Dr. Godwin Ariguzo recently traveled with UMass Dartmouth students to Germany. Dr. Ariguzo serves as a visiting professor at Ostfalia University in Wolfsburg. Students from UMass Dartmouth, Ostfalia University, and the University of Tennessee Chattanooga took part in Dr. Ariguzos classes this summer, as part of the Ostfalia network of American Universities and lecturers. In addition to attending classes, students toured the city of Wolfsburg visiting the Volkswagen (VW) factory, the VW automobile theme park Autostadt, the Kunstmuseum, and the Phaeno science museum. They also met up with UMass Dartmouth alumnus Jonathan Najarian, who now works for VW in Wolfsburg and is a previous participant in the program. The group also toured the the city of Berlin, the Jägermeister factory in Wolfenbüttel, and the city of Hamburg, including the port of Hamburg - the second largest container port in Europe.
