UPDATE--------AS IS ! We were able to get on the agenda for the Oct. meeting with the DAC. I was out of town ,but my partner Raymond was there and he sent out this e-mail to a few of us. The Design Advisory Committee (DAC) for the City of New Orleans APPROVED the original design for the warehouse monument and approved our project to move forward. We need to hire a licensed landscape Architect to help us with our illustrations for the Planning Commission (PAC) review. I would also suggest we get a licensed survey company to survey the site with the monument lay out on the site. With the news that the City Real Estate Administrator, Martha J. Griset, has stated that they are fine with giving us permission to use the site with approval from DAC and PAC, this approval from PAC is a major step in the building of this monument. I would suggest that we have all of our pieces in place for the presentation to the Planning Commission (PAC). Thanks to all for assisting in this process. I will talk to Bobby and try to schedule a meeting for all of us to meet and discuss our next move and to make sure we are ready for the PAC presentation
