UPDATE 3: Trains have resumed through the CBD. Due to due to a loss of power caused by fallen power lines at Nundah station, trains are suspended on the Airport line in both directions, from Bowen Hills to the Airport. This issue has also affected the Caboolture and Doomben lines, with trains suspended in both directions from Bowen Hills to Geebung and Doomben. Due to a fallen tree at Banyo, trains are suspended on the Shorncliffe line between Bowen Hills and Geebung. Trains are also suspended on the Sunshine Coast line, between Bowen Hills and Geebung and Nambour to Gympie North, due to storm damage. Trains continue to run on the Beenleigh, Cleveland, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Springfield and Rosewood lines, from Bowen Hills. Trains are also running on the Ferny Gove line from Roma Street. We are attempting to arrange buses between the CBD and Geebung, CBD and Shorncliffe, CBD and airport and CBD and Doomben and buses are beginning to arrive in the CBD. We are working as hard as possible to overcome these weather issues and return our services to normal, but given the severity of the damage we do expect that some services may continue to be affected tomorrow morning. Significant delays are being experienced and we ask that our customers seek alternative transport. We thank our customers for their understanding as we work to return our services to normal.
