UPDATE: I brought Dave to the emergency room at 3:00 a.m. this morning due to severe shortness of breath. He was admitted and is now in ICU. Preliminary X-rays are showing fluid, inflammation and increased effusions around his lungs as a result of the spread of the cancer. Ill know more once I meet with his medical team and oncologist. Currently, Dave is being infused with a cocktail of antibiotics for infection and is on a BPAP machine, which is a breathing apparatus that helps get more air into his lungs. Now more than ever we are asking our tribe to take a moment and pray, send positive & healing vibes Davids way or just keep him close to your heart and thoughts. Ill provide updates as soon as the team of doctors come up with a game plan. Thank you, familia for your constant support and love. Youll never know how much it is needed and appreciated right now.
