UPDATES! DEVIN is here cuddling with his Foster Dad in another of the series of selfies taken just a couple of days ago. This little guy adores his Daddy and we know the feeling is mutual. :) Devins minor leg injury is all healed up and hes doing great. One of his fans said to me the other day, When I talk about Devin to other people, Im surprised by how many know who Im talking about. LOTS of people love our little man. And how can they help it? Hes amazing! CINJUN has good news! His stitches were removed yesterday and his eye is healing up perfectly! We are grateful that he didnt have any complications like our darling little Kamilla. He has a meet & greet with an approved adopter at tomorrows Adoption Event. (Dont miss it: 2340 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Roswell, GA 30076) We KNOW they will love him. So we hope to announce that hes in his new home in the next update. :) DOT will soon be joining the lovely Kamilla in their forever home. Shes healing well from her spay & should be in her new home by next weekend. So happy for my girls. Dont forget that they have their own FB page: facebook/pages/KamillaDot. Im THRILLED to be able to keep up with them. They are so much fun! MIRA is getting SO confident. Remember how she used to be scared to jump off the toilet? She used to break my heart pawing the air to make sure it was safe to jump. Now, she leaps off the bathroom sink without batting an eye and she knows her way around the bedroom too. This little girl is a super star!! She still desperately needs a cat free foster home where she can be the princess she deserves to be. In fact, we think she thinks shes a pug too. :) Rumor has it that we will be getting some very exciting news about Pippa sometime next week. As soon as I know something definite, Ill let you know but were expecting a very happy update. TOBY is pictured here still at the ER vet shortly before his amputation. Ill take new pictures of him later today but he is healing nicely. He still has a lot of congestion & hasnt quite gotten the hang of walking on three legs but we know hell be just fine. Hes a super sweetie and hes a BIG boy at 12 lbs. Pre-adopt this angel at angelsrescue.org/adopt. JACKSON, our newest resident, will have a full update on the AAU Cats page later today (facebook/angelsrescue.cats) but you know I always give you sneak previews. :) I am IN LOVE with this little guy. Hes so pitiful. Hes congested & his eyes are runny. Both are cloudy (one more than the other) so his vision is impaired to some degree. His little chest dips inward (called Pectus Excavatum) but his heart & lungs look OK so we are holding off on surgery for now. Its an extremely dangerous surgery so well be monitoring him first to see if his complications are severe enough to need it. We dont want to risk this little guy if it isnt 100% necessary. Hes also super skinny so Ive made it my mission to fatten him up. Hes the sweetest little thing too. Loves to be carried around & he purrs non-stop. GUTTER CAT (we used to only catch glimpses of him coming in and out of the storm drains/gutters and the name stuck :/) is NOT an AAU cat because hes TOO feral but since I mentioned him yesterday, I thought Id throw in a quick update. Hes a feral that lives in our neighborhood and as you can see, he has a terrible injury to his front leg. Weve been trying to catch him for MONTHS and were finally successful Wednesday night. He will be spending the weekend with Dr. B on heavy duty antibiotics & pain meds in the hopes that his leg can be saved. Hes VERY feral & not used to human contact so hes not very easy to work with. We are grateful to Dr. B & staff for helping us (Shane & I) help this little guy. Poor sweetie. :( Hope everyone has an amazing weekend!
