**URGENT, PLEASE SHARE** Handsome Juan didn’t get the email that said don’t be playful and pleasant with the assessor. This young man is still a puppy at just 1 year old and he likes to PLAY! Our tan and white pit bull mix Juan loved the assessor and was thrilled to think the ACC had provided him with a playmate! He felt so special to have been chosen for this honor. Juan meant to impress and was full of fun and action during his intake—playing tug-of-war, playfully jumping, and enjoying his toys. We know he was playing because Juan was able to calm himself quickly once he figured out that being too gleeful was not helpful at that moment. In addition he showed no aggression proving he is just a guy who likes to have fun and have a friend too. This 56 pound pup was quickly slapped with an EXPNOCHILD rating because of his happiness, but we think he is just terrific and you will too. Juan has a sensitive face and seems like a great dog to just hang out with and develop a close bond for life. The ACC is cutting short his potential by placing Juan on the euthanasia list tonight. We can stop Juan from being killed tonight.
