USMAN DAN FODIO NOW LACKING IN THE NORTH: for those who dont know about islam very well,the holy prophet muhammed(pbuh) advise every good muslim to defend islam,and he did not stop there he lead by example by embarking on some war against those who wanted to opose the teaching of islam. And to me every body supose to defend wat is dear to him. Usman dan fodio a fulani great man saw that some northern region have started misinterpreting islam and combining it with idolatry,which is against the teaching of the holy prophet,the man was not comfortable with that,he did not start running from pillar to post asking for world power to come and rescue the religion for the good muslim of the region. He went out and fight those who were not practising the true religion and with the grace of allah which he believe in,he defeated the people. I grew up in this country to see some muslims fighting for religion especially in the north,i then assume that yes,they were just trying to protect their religion from being desecrated by INFIDEL. A teacher was killed in Bauchi for throwing away quran that one pupil was caught with using it to do some examination malpractise. Yes i said that maybe this people dont want their religion to be desecrated by INFIDEL. I m a man who like learning not sticking to wat i was brought up with,when i was in Okene in kogi state,i wanted to buy a copy of quran from an islamic bookshop bc i prefer hard copy to soft copy,but i started having a rethink bc i m a very careless person, if christians frown at the way bible was been handle,i would have long gone to six feet bc sometimes i even end up seeing my bible under my mattress. Now we have a severe case where a group of people came out to tell us that the holy prophet muhammed(pbuh) instructed them to kill and they even go as far and quoting the quran to justify their claim. Since in my life i have never see a blasphemy character as this group. I sometimes ask myself where are the true muslims in this country,have they suddenly forget the teaching of the holy prophet that ask for the defence of the religion and if usman dan fodio have the kind of atitude that the nowadays muslim have,do u think sultan would have been where he is. Maybe i stand to be corrected that defending of islam can even take ur life but definitely paradise will be us abode. Are we so afraid to take the bold step of usman dan fodio and ignore the authority the way fodio did and confront the idolatry authority? Or is defending the religion only against the unarm individuals like the people killed in the denmark cartoon drawing or the bauchi teacher or even the miss world saga? I must say that is a shame for my muslim brothers and sisters for one lunatic down there in sambisa telling the world that the holy prophet command him to kill and kill and eat the flesh as well as sell the kidnap girls. Someone will ask do we have any weapon to confront them? Hunters once came out to confront them,and i cant remember how many amour car the hunters have. If u take a bold step to stop the tarnishing of ur religion the almighty allah that u serve will protect u, that wat the prophet said. HOW LONG CAN WE BE LUKWORM. Is there anybody with fodio lion heart anymore?
