USSA 2013 Sprint Car Rookie Award too Close to Call It will be Indiana against Florida for the USSA Simpson World Indy Sprint Car Rookie of the Year Award when the Sprint Car Challenge Series takes to the high banks of Anderson Speedway Saturday October 19th. Just 3 points separate Valrico, Florida native Garrett Green from Indianapolis’ Kevin Studley. If Green finishes ahead of Studley, he wins. Should Studley top Green he will tie his competitor. The tie breaker is the highest average finishing position. Business commitments kept Green in Florida on September 21 while Studley missed the Pay Less Little 500, putting the two drivers on a level field going into Saturday’s UAW Making Strides 50. At the front of the Sprint car standings, Aaron Pierce, Tony Hunt and Chris Neunschwander are separated by 75 points. While Pierce controls his own fate, Hunt and Neunschwander can each win the championship if Pierce has one misstep in qualifying or the 50-lap feature.
