Ultimate Altruism. It will save everyone and everything on earth, till the end of time. Sounds like a superpower from a comic book? Because it is a superpower and it is real, not a figment of imagination from a comic book writers mind. It is the ONLY thing that will save the world as it is now. How does it work? Well, imagine someone so good, so willing to help ease the pain and suffering of others that he/she would sacrifice their own lives if they have to. Imagine someone who cares enough to avoid hurting anyone, directly or indirectly and devote their entire lifespan to this principle, making it a way of life, making it their very being. Now imagine this supernatural superpower bestowed upon the majority of the human population, what do you think would happen next? A soldier would refuse to hurt or kill anyone. A politician would quit because it contradicts with his very being. A police would protect everyone and harm no one. A banker would work to dismantle the cursed financial system. An engineer would work tirelessly to develop machines that make lives easier for everyone. A scientist would devote his entire lifes work to the betterment of mankind. An economist would aim to develop an economic system that has zero structural violence. A religious leader would never exploit or harm his followers. Industries, businesses, corporations and nations would unite, pooling its resources to create unimaginable well being on earth and never do anything to harm it. If mankind is granted this ultimate gift, then anything and everything that can or is harming people directly or indirectly would no longer exist, as long as it is humanly possible to prevent them from coming to be. The trick is, how do you grant the majority with this power? This is not a joke, though some would say this is impossible, but they obviously have not met any selfless people like some of us already have, we just have to figure out how to replicate this, scale it up. Ex: Genetic therapy through pandemic viral infection? Human machine integration with nano-machines? Combined with positive societal indoctrination? I have no idea.
