Ummm... While listening to Professor Rebecca Saxe, I cannot help but ponder on the nutty activities that friends and I engaged in during our formative school years. Little thought whisps of What would have happened had this quirky brain o-mine been a bit to a lot more focused on thingies that I am passionate about. And, which might have led this ageing body towards a career in some wondrous research field. Then, I think of those wondrous and quirky people who had shared many colourful and Oh, my!!! moments with me. Its like that ol saying — You can have a cake with a metre of icing on it and eat it, too. Yet, the calories will find their way to the hips as well as to various other soft and fold sensitive parts of the human body. Or, something along those idiom-esque lines. Professor Saxes research along with the neuroscience field as a whole simply ignites all of me.
