Unfortunate that the Army Chief have to intervene to settle the dispute that was all political. This military intervention has happened all too often. No one is dismayed. What a shame.Everyone is applauding this effort as a service to the country.If we analyse the development realistically military intervention to settle the political discourse now was the last thing what was on table. We always find military intervention to topple the governments. But that is not always true. Some times the military has to intervene to strengthen the political government. The government shall have no problems with using military to effectively run the affairs of the state. One such example prior to yesterdays intervention was the judges restoration march sage. I K and Qadri would not have paid heed to anything but the Umpire whose finger was nod that they wanted in their favour. If COAS is able to resolve the present situation effectively, the present government is able to function smoothly. This would lead to a greater confidence of the political hierarchy in army. It would help forge the notion that army interventions are only to topple the governments
