Unfortunately some people dont take honesty very well. A girl who has been a pretty good friend told me how she felt about me. I was flattered but I told her nicely and respectfully that I was sorry but I only like her as a friend. I wasnt interested in her that way. I know rejection is tough (believe me Ive been there many times). I know deep down I hurt her and now I feel guilty. I didnt give her any mixed signals or lead her on in any way. However I was straight up with her and told her how I felt. I know the truth and honesty hurts sometimes but I rather have that than a pretty lie or deception.
