University Relations Coordinator: Category : Recruiter Location/City : IL - Chicago Id : 3028259 Job Type : Contract The University Relations Coordinator provides comprehensive, effective and efficient support to GESs Talent Acquisition team. The primary responsibility is engaging campus pipeline candidates in the selection process, create and maintain campus reporting structure, serve as the liaison between the University Relations and other recruiting team to increase collaboration and also includes various Recruiting support activities. Education/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelors degree preferred Minimum two years experience in a recruiting support role Experience from one or more of the following environments preferred: corporate in-house recruiting department, contingency search firm, retained search firm Experience with campus related website posting website (ie • Experience, Symplicity, etc.) Advanced experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS), Taleo preferred (ex: Virtual Edge, BrassRing, PeopleClick, RecruitMax, PowerPlace, HRsmart, etc.); site administration experience preferred; Simultaneous support of multiple recruiters is critical; Supporting multiple offices/geographies preferred Skills and Competencies Detail-oriented with a complete focus on quality results and on-time deliverables Outstanding client service focus; patience critical Demonstrated history of using good judgment related to exposure to confidential information Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with coworkers at all levels including Senior Leadership Self guided/motivated professional; works thoroughly to the logical end of a task Strong administrative and technical skills to include but not limited to: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance expectations under stressful situations Demonstrated history of using judgment to escalate issues Employment history must include strong attendance record and history of being on time and reliable Positive can-do attitude even when faced with unexpected chaos; problem-solver; professional Independent with demonstrated ability to work with little direction (requesting appropriate assistance when necessary) Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships Major Job Duties and Responsibilities Primary responsibilities Provide primary support for University Relations team recruiters, hiring stakeholders, and candidates Facilitate interview process (schedule web based interviews as well as coordinate on campus interviews, book interview rooms on campus, act as main point of contact between candidates and GES related to scheduling) Communicate with targeted pipeline candidates on consistent bases Post, manager and update jobs online at targeted schools as appropriate Direct candidates that mail/e-mail paper resumes to apply online Work with COE teammates to cover excess workload (interview scheduling support or data entry projects etc) as needed (must be pre-approved) . Review campus requisition daily and audit applicants to ensure they are in the appropriate requisition based on graduation date Create and provide weekly reporting on step status of all pipeline candidates Create and maintain executive level reporting Manage all resume books with target schools Screen resume books and distribute appropriately Additional Responsibilities as needed Screening and distribution of incoming calls (candidates, vendors, search firms, hiring managers, travel agency) Track vendor usage/spend against contract/budget Additional Recruiting support activities as necessary Minimal travel between the Chicagoland locations dlvr.it/81yq8p
