Unser MMC Flöte Instructor stellt sich vor ! -------------------- Andries Renema is born in 1963 in Enschede (nl). He’s married, has two kids and lives in the city of Kollum. Starting his musical career with Pasveerkorps Leeuwarden, he studied music at the MPA/ conservatorium Leeuwarden (major study: Flute). He also started conducting (Pasveerkorps), composing and arranging for various ensembles. With Pasveerkorps he received many awards. Among them were several world titles at the WMC Kerkrade. Andries has also composed/ conducted for several theatrical productions in the Netherlands, and was occupied as a music teacher. He left Pasveerkorps after 30 years as composer/ supervisor in august 2013. Momentarily Andries is general coordinator at music school De Wâldsang and leader of Bigband de Wâldsang. He started in January 2014 as musical leader at Takostu Stiens, and is still composing. He’s giving workshops, master classes and other projects in the Netherlands and Germany.
