Upcoming courses reminder! Happy New Year! We are ready for a new line up of courses. Here is what is coming up this month! Homeschooling Parents Open Forum This gathering is for parents to share ideas and have an open discussion on the joys and woes we go through on a daily basis. This is open to all parents who have homeschooled, are currently homeschooling, or are considering homeschooling in the near future. Please leave the little ones at home to allow parents time to connect. Coffee and tea are available, please bring your own mug. Space is limited so please call or email ahead to register. In addition to learning fun repertoire, students will also be coached in proper breathing and vocal technique. There may be a small sheet music fee per term, but we will try to keep this as minimal as possible. Winter Term: Thursdays starting January 15th-March 26th from 4:30-5:30pm (10 weeks-no class on March break) Recommended Age: 7-14 Course Price: $95.00 Member Price: $75.00 Invitation to Play – this month the theme is Lego! All ages are invited to come and play with a different theme each month. Friday, January 16, 2015 11:00am-2:30pm $2.00/person or $5/family, no membership required Home Alone Safety for Kids We focus on building independence and awareness in keeping yourself safe. Students must be 10 years of age or older by start of course. Topics covered include: getting home safely, communicating with parents, stranger safety, door and phone safety, kitchen hazards for beginners, fire safety, how to call EMS/911 and basic first-aid. Saturday, January 24, 2015 and Saturday January 31 from 10:30am-2:00pm Recommended Age: 10+ Course Fee: $60, no membership required Pirate PD Day Camp: a day filled with treasures of learning and fun!
