Update 12/9/14 – Brian has completed 3 treatments of the new chemo and so far he has been doing really well. The first one there was fatigue and nausea, however, each one since has been with lesser side effects. He has experienced some mouth pain, but not so bad to keep him from eating. He had gained almost 5lbs last visit (within a 2 week span) – of course, Thanksgiving did fall into that time frame :). The awesome news is that his blood work looks great, the doctor said that looking at his blood work, there is no evidence that he is even taking chemotherapy. He has one more treatment on 12/17 before scans at the end of the month, results first week of January. A special thank you to Brian Hett for accompanying Brian to his last treatment. We are so grateful to so many, we truly appreciate all of you. The outpouring of support, the cards, food, monetary gifts, and much more. I have tried to reach out to each person individually to thank you, I hope we haven’t overlooked anyone. Most of all, we appreciate your constant prayers of healing for Brian. We are truly blessed, thank you!
