Update: Today we met with Dr. Bromer to develop our next treatment plan. We have decided to try an FET IVF cycle. This is an IVF cycle using our frozen embryos. This means less visits, less medications and less invasive procedures. YAY! We were asked to consider participating in their upcoming study on medications used during FET cycles. We agreed as it can further what doctors know about infertility and possible treatments. Dr. Bromer was not able to conclusively say what went wrong with our last cycle but gave 3 possibilities including a spike in progesterone to early. Either way, he was beyond surprised with the number of viable embryos we were able to freeze as it far exceeded typical numbers. Step 1: Restarting birth control to regulate and suppress current cycle.
