Update for Saturday: (September 20) It was a slow Saturday! Everything went really amazing with feeds. Tucker was awake for nearly 2 hours before being offered a bottle. Today they started intermittent feeds in his feeding tube, on 2.5 hours, off half an hour. I think that might have given him more of a hunger feeling in his stomach. He fought me most of the time, but kept rooting his head like he wanted more. So after about 30 minutes he held down 8.5 ml! Super Tuck Man! I was very proud! He took a nice nap afterwards as well. I found out that the reason were still here. One of two things must happen before going home. 1: Tucker keeps moving forward and excels at eating, taking all portions & meds by mouth and keeping them down OR 2: He gains weight and maintains a 3.0g (6.6 lbs) status in order to get a g-tube placed. This way we can continue to work on feeds by mouth at home, but can feed and gives meds directly to his stomach. *Tucker currently weighs 2.685 (5.7 lbs)* Grow or eat, preferably both! #sweetbabytucker
