Update on Thomas Dale - MRI showed possible bone involvement that could not be ruled out. Dr is going to debride the wound tomorrow to see if he can feel bone or soft tissue. If he feels bone then that means the infection is in the bone, if he only feels soft tissue then it is only in the soft tissue. The difference between the two is that if it is soft tissue tom will get oral antibiotics and we will head south early next week. If there is bone involvement recover is iv antibiotics, surgery and follow up in Michigan. Eventually Tom will need to have reconstructive surgery on his toe but this can not happen until the infection is gone. Please continue to keep praying for his healing.
