Update – fatal traffic crash, Inglewood Police investigating the death of a 61-year-old male cyclist who was found deceased near Inglewood on ANZAC Day are appealing for further public assistance. Investigations indicate Dr Martin Pearson was riding a bicycle along Inglewood-Millmerran Road when he was struck by a vehicle sometime between 2.30pm and 3.25pm. Officers are continuing to search for the vehicle involved which failed to remain at the scene. The call for more information coincides with a memorial service that will be held for Dr Pearson at the University of Queensland Gatton campus at 11.30am today. Immediately following the service, there will be a short bike ride around the campus to remember Dr Pearson, and more than 50 riders have registered their intention to participate.
