Updated: Winter is a great time to discover the track and sign of local wildlife such as bobcat, fox, fisher, and river otter! Join tracking leaders Paula Coughlin and Fran Baranski for a Wildlife Tracking Workshop, Sat., Jan 24, 2015, 9 a.m.-3:00 p.m., (snow date Jan. 25) Center at Pomfret, 218 Day Road, Pomfret Center, CT 06259 The morning includes a wildlife presentation, preserved animal mounts, and tracking activities. In the afternoon, the group heads out onto our Bafflin Sanctuary in search of track and sign. Participants should dress for the weather, bring water, lunch and snack.
