Upon talking to Al, it became very evident to us both that we had nothing to auction or raffle at the actual weekend we are all attending. With this in mind and knowing any further funds we could muster up as a group would go towards the Stoney and Friends charity, which supports the McMillian trust, we decided to put the word out for some donations. It gives us both great pleasure to announce that an auction for a very special prize, will be held on he Saturday evening. The Auction prize will be A full weeks fishing for two out on Wally&Helen Gibbs water in France called Molyneux. I have fished this water myself a few times and it without doubt the prettiest lake in France I have ever fished. It holds some wonderful carp lookwise and has around 20/25 diffeent 40s in it and one or two will soon break the magical 50 barrier. Wally and Helen are legendary as hosts and a better week all round you will be hard pushed to beat. A lot of us already know Wally and Helen and know of there kindness, but that should not stop any of us from sending them a litle thankyou note via there facebook page, for this stunning act of genorisity. It is also hoped that we will be able to rustle up enough items to maybe hold a raffle also. kind regards Jeff/Al.
