Fishing has been fairly quiet around here lately so I was hoping that I would be able to get him onto a feed. Launched at Urenui about 7, taking the easier river launch option. Paddled out to 10m and on his first drop he landed a 30cm snapper. Thought it might fire but as has been the case lately there were many small snapper about. Moved out a little bit and things improved a little. Still lots of bait pinching juve snapper but we managed 7 more keepers between us. He rode a wave in like a pro and denied the beach goers any entertainment.
