Urgent Call for Participant from Latvia 18 Mayıs 2014, 20:56 ‘’ Volunteerism Is Insurance of Europe - Avrupanın Sigortası Gönüllük Partnership-building Activity on Quality Inclusion within EVS projects among EU countries 10 - 16 July 2014, Denizli, TURKEY Turkey,Bulgaria,Croatia,Estonia,Italy,Latvia,Romania,Spain Themes of the partnership building seminar: To make a partnership building seminar between EU countries in order to strengthen the cooperation between these countries and create high quality EVS projects among representatives of presented organisations. Foster the quality of inclusion part clear and understandable for different actors with special focus on prepare, run and evaluate EVS projects among EU countries. The overall aim of the partnership building seminar is to prepare youth workers, mentors, sending coordinators, EVS coordinators for being aware and raising understanding about quality aspects of inclusion within EVS projects according to proposals of Youth in Action (Erasmus+) programme with special focus on EU countries. To clarify the role of young people with fewer opportunities in the planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation and follow up process focusing on their personal, educational and professional development. To develop competences of host organisations in order to make qualitative EVS host projects in corporation with the all actors as volunteer, sending organisation and coordinator organisation. Learning objectives of the partnership building seminar are: - To clarify the challenges of European Voluntary Service regarding to inclusion strategies of host and sending organisations; - To raise awareness and learn the ways to ensure active participation of young volunteer with fewer opportunities during planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation of EVS projects; - To strengthen the cooperation between mentors, sending coordinators and representatives of coordinator organisation between EU countries; - To prepare qualitative European Voluntary Service projects with special focus on inclusion; - To reflect on participants’ experiences and create recommendations for management of next projects within the programme “YOUTH in ACTION” (Erasmus+). The methodology of the partnership building seminar: The participants will interactively experience the process of cultural principles such as dialogue and communication, mutual understanding, giving constructive feedback, decision making, self-exploration as well as the attitude of analytical approach. The methods and methodology used during this PBS will be absolutely based on non-formal learning. As this PBS aims of topics such as inclusion, quality aspects of EVS, partnership building, project management, we are very aware of challenges of such issue. The following keywords show what methodical approach you can expect throughout this PBS: -participative & inclusive way of the seminar, empowering, delegating, inspiring, funny, enjoyable and easy to grasp, self- initiative; -facilitation/ presenting/ demonstrating/ observing/ evaluating; -individual work, small and plenary group work; -interactive, dynamic, experiential learning, learning by doing, reflective learning; -using role plays, simulations, tests, thought-shower, drawings, movies and music, fantasy leading. Who can participate in the partnership building seminar: - Representatives of host and sending or coordinating organisations from Turkey, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Latvia, Romania, Romania, Spain; - Aged over 18; - Mentors, directly working with volunteers, having experience of organising at least one European Voluntary Service project; - Sending coordinators, directly working with volunteers, having experience of organising at least one European Voluntary Service project; - Coordinators, directly working with volunteers, having experience of organising at least one European Voluntary Service project; - Ex-volunteers, having experience of participating in European Voluntary Service project; - Ready to take part in the whole training course; - Have organizational support for further activities with EVS projects; - To be able to communicate English language. Financial conditions: The food and accommodation will be provided and paid by the organizers. 70% of travels costs will be reimbursed either by bank transfer after the course or at the end of the course in cash (in Euros €). It may be that money from European Commission will be late; in that case, as mentioned, you will get your reimbursement after the course by bank transfer (be ready for that).
