(VIDEO) NATO naval drills take over Mediterranean A large fleet of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) naval vessels took part in Noble Justification military exercises in the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, Wednesday. Over twenty warships, several submarines and aircrafts were involved in the drills, including Spanish Navy AV-8B aircraft, British WS-61 Sea King Commando, a German Type 212 class submarine and the Spanish Galicia-class landing platform dock - among others. More than 5,000 military personnel were coordinated in the exercises from 14 NATO member states as well as partner nations Finland and Sweden. NATO officials stated that the drills aimed to develop force integration, response time and the use of developed technology.
