Vacancy: Non Clinical Trainer - DCS (Parktown) YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: 1. Training: • Responsible for providing non-clinical on-site training through: • Conduct training needs assessment • Develop training manuals • Schedule and plan training programme • Preparing for all training interventions: • Revision of current study material on an annual basis • Assist in the design and development of new training material • Assist in the design and develop assessments (presenting and formative and summative assessments)• Review assessment • Plan, prepare and present training interventions • Prepare training reports, communicate and archive • Report training statistics for quarterly and annual reports as required by the SETA, donor, partner and/or employer • Keeping record of training presented and compile training statistics • Forward planning to ensure training materials are ready and available • Identifying daily trends and report, keeping up to date with HIV/AIDS and TB 2. Mentoring: Responsible for: • Continuous mentoring of lay counsellors and peer educators • Facilitating case discussions on a regular basis You must have: Work Experience: • At least 3 years’ experience in Health environment • At least 3 years’ experience in Training environment Skills: • Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, offenders, and officials. • Ability to define problems and apply problem- solving strategies • Facilitation skills • Train-the-Trainer skills • Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English • Excellent organising skills • Leadership skills Qualification / Professional Membership • Education/Training qualification • Applicable degree or Diploma in Social/Health Science Other: • Moderate overnight travel (up to 30%) by land or air if required • Extensive experience and understanding of HIV/AIDS and TB • Valid driver’s licence • Own transport • Train-the-Trainer certificate • Advantage: Certificate in Counselling • Liaise with External and Internal Customers Submit your brief CV, including current relevant references, to Human Resources e-mail [email protected] to reach us no later than Friday, 15 October 2014.
