Vapour? That is the olde (old) English way of spelling vapor. Vapor always has a lot of air mixed with a little bit of moisture known as liquid. The liquid is usually water. That liquid may or may not contain other things in it. If it does contain other things in it, then it will have an aroma! It may have a smell about it like coffee or tea or worse. It may be from a skunk. So as we can see the life of a man is like a vapour (air with moisture) with a teeny tiny bit of some kind of aroma known as his works. (James 4:14). If his works are good, then it is a pleasing aroma to God. But the average human has a different aroma that rivals that of the skunk in the nostrils of God!
