Very good speech, an effective use of anecdotes, and an even better delivery, with a rousing finale using the sentimental/emotional card, referring to his illustrious parents and even a reference to people planning to assassinate him. A good report card too, of all that his administration has accomplished. Sadly, it did not take cognizance of the harsh realities facing the people today---high prices of basic commodities, power shortages, incompetent cabinet secretaries, the worst airport in the world, delayed infrastructure projects, high crime rate, widespread poverty , unabated smuggling, selective justice, neglect of the Yolanda and Zamboanga City siege victims, unfocused response to Chinas aggression, etc.
