Victory! #Judges 5:1-3 Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying, (2) Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves. (3) Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel. Has there ever been a time our lives where we have had victory? I can think of many. Wars of the past. Personal victories in projects or missions from God. Its a great feeling. As a Christian have we have achieved the ultimate victory that the world deals with on a daily basis. That victory over #sin! No matter how log ago it was we should never get over it! Some of us have. It is a sad thing. Some of us have forgotten what the Lord has done for us. Some of us go on our daily run about and ignore what God has given us victory over! Its sin and most of all the guarantee of Heaven and eternal life! Jesus stated in John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall NEVER perish, neither shall ANY MAN pluck them out of MY HAND. 29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fathers hand. Read the above passage and replace the word them with your name and read it again! Do you realize you have been SAVED if you repented to #God and asked Jesus into your heart? Not as a ticket to sin but a ticket to SERVE! I think of the song Victory in Jesus which goes like this: I heard an old, old story, How a Savior came from glory, How He gave His life on Calvary To save a wretch like me; I heard about His groaning, Of His precious bloods atoning, Then I repented of my sins And won the victory. Chorus O victory in Jesus, My Savior, forever. He sought me and bought me With His redeeming blood; He loved me ere I knew Him And all my love is due Him, He plunged me to victory, Beneath the cleansing flood. I heard about His healing, Of His cleansing powr revealing. How He made the lame to walk again And caused the blind to see; And then I cried, Dear Jesus, Come and heal my broken spirit, And somehow Jesus came and brot To me the victory. Chorus O victory in Jesus, My Savior, forever. He sought me and bought me With His redeeming blood; He loved me ere I knew Him And all my love is due Him, He plunged me to victory, Beneath the cleansing flood. I heard about a mansion He has built for me in glory. And I heard about the streets of gold Beyond the crystal sea; About the angels singing, And the old redemption story, And some sweet day Ill sing up there The song of victory. Chorus O victory in Jesus, My Savior, forever. He sought me and bought me With His redeeming blood; He loved me ere I knew Him And all my love is due Him, He plunged me to victory, Beneath the cleansing flood. VICTORY! VICTORY over sin! Victory over DEATH! Victory over this flesh of ours and we have the assurance that we will one day spend an eternity with Christ when He calls us home! Life cannot get any better than this! Give the Lord the praise He deserves today and everyday and let others know what a victory you have in Jesus! If you dont have that victory. Jesus stated in Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: REPENT ye, AND BELIEVE the gospel. NOT JUST BELIEVE but REPENT AND BELIEVE! REPENT to who? God not man, not a priest, not by doing good works! Repent means turn, go the opposite direction. False teachers will tell you all you need to do is BELIEVE. My friend that is a false statement and the devils lie. People will try and SELL Jesus in this format because they are uneducated about what the Word of God says or they are putting it in this format because they feel like the REAL Gospel offends! It DOES offend! It reveals how much of sinner we are and then it reveals to us the only way to VICTORY, to HEAVEN! Will you REPENT and turn from your sins and ask Jesus into your heart today? Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. #Victory #JesusSaves #Repent #FollowJesus Love to all!
