Village of Dundee Announces New Interactive Website Enhancing Citizen and Government Communication Dundee, MI. – (September 26, 2013) The Village of Dundee is pleased to announce that it is launching its new website as of 2:00 p.m., September 26, 2013. The website dundeevillagemi.gov just underwent a seven month re-design process by CivicPlus, the leading government website provider. The website now has improved functionality, citizen engagement and a number of improved features that will allow citizens to easily access the information they want as well as a cleaner, easier layout to navigate. Citizens will be able to (COMMUNICATE, MONITOR, REPORT, ETC.) through some of the new featured modules: • EPAY – Citizens will be able to pay water/sewer bills, taxes and other permit fees online (Available in approximately 2 weeks). • Village Voice: allows residents to submit ideas for improvements and changes they’d like to see within the community • Permits & Applications – Citizens will be able to fill out permits and submit them online. • Notify Me – Allows citizens to sign up for the information they want and decide how they want to receive it. The Village is excited about the new website but has indicated there is still a lot of work on the back end to increase the forms, provide more detail and depth to some pages and other items that need to be addressed. Since the previous website has been down for 7 months it was important to the staff and council to make this website available as soon as possible to provide updates to the citizens. The Village is asking for patience as it learns to utilize this new website to the best of its abilities. With the new website the Village of Dundee will be able to increase its community engagement and enhance the communication between residents and the local government.
