Vision of the Dry Bones.* 1 The hand of the LORD came upon me, and he led me out in the spirit of the LORD and set me in the center of the broad valley. It was filled with bones. 2 He made me walk among them in every direction. So many lay on the surface of the valley! How dry they were! 3 He asked me: Son of man, can these bones come back to life? “Lord GOD,” I answered, “you alone know that.”a 4 Then he said to me: Prophesy over these bones, and say to them: Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD! 5 Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones: Listen! I will make breath enter you so you may come to life. 6 I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow over you, cover you with skin, and put breath into you so you may come to life. Then you shall know that I am the LORD. 7 I prophesied as I had been commanded. A sound started up, as I was prophesying, rattling like thunder. The bones came together, bone joining to bone. 8 As I watched, sinews appeared on them, flesh grew over them, skin covered them on top, but there was no breath in them. 9 Then he said to me: Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man! Say to the breath: Thus says the Lord GOD: From the four winds come, O breath, and breathe into these slain that they may come to life.* b 10 I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath entered them; they came to life and stood on their feet, a vast army.c 11 He said to me: Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel! They are saying, “Our bones are dried up, our hope is lost, and we are cut off.” 12 Therefore, prophesy and say to them: Thus says the Lord GOD: Look! I am going to open your graves; I will make you come up out of your graves, my people, and bring you back to the land of Israel.d 13 You shall know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and make you come up out of them, my people! 14 I will put my spirit in you that you may come to life, and I will settle you in your land. Then you shall know that I am the LORD. I have spoken; I will do it—oracle of the LORD.e THE WORK OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS PROPHESYING DOES NOT MEAN TELLING THE FUTURE, BUT IT IS ACTUALLY AN AID TO THE SPIRITUAL LIFE. IN 1CORINTHIANS 14:3, WE READ: But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation (i.e., encouragement) and comfort to men. THEREFORE PROPHESYING HELPS IN REALIZING GODS WILL AND PERCEIVING THE CORRECT PICTURE THAT GOD DESIRES OF OUR SPIRiTUAL LIFE. IN OTHER WORDS, IT HELPS IN DEVELOPING THE MEMBERS OF THE INNER SPIRITUAL MAN AND THE MANIFESTATION OF THIS INNER MAN AS AN INTEGRATED SPIRITUAL BEING IN A WHOLESOME FORM ACCORDING TO GODS PLAN AND ECONOMY FOR MAN. SOME REFERENCES THAT HIGHLIGHT FACTS ABOUT THE INNER MAN: ROMANS 7:22 23l but I see in my members another principle at war with the law of my mind, taking me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.* 2 CORINTHIANS 4:16 16* Therefore, we are not discouraged;*rather, although our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.k EPHESIANS 3:16 16that he may grant you in accord with the riches of his glory to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner self,l EPHESIANS 4:22-23 22that you should put away the old self of your former way of life, corrupted through deceitful desires,q 23and be renewed in the spirit of your minds,r COLOSSIANS 3:9-10 9Stop lying to one another, since you have taken off the old self with its practicesf 10* and have put on the new self, which is being renewed, for knowledge, in the image of its creator.g WHEN THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT SOME SPIRITUAL TRUTHS USING WORDS THAT REFER TO THE MEMBERS OF THE HUMAN BODY: THE EYES, MOUTH, HANDS, FEET, AND SO ON, THIS DOES NOT ONLY MEAN -AS SOME MAY THINK - SIMPLIFYING THE DIVINE TRUTHS BY USING A HUMAN LANGUAGE. THE MATTER IS INDEED MORE THAN JUST THAT. IN FACT, THE PURPOSE IS TO REVEAL TO US THE ROLE AND FUNCTION OF EACH MEMBER OF THE INNER SPIRITUAL MAN IN ITS COMPLETE AND WHOLESOME FORM AS PLANNED BY GOD. SO, FOR EXAMPLE, THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT HAVING A GOOD / SINGLE EYE THAT LOOKS IN ONE DIRECTION, ACCORDING TO THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGE. THE PURPOSE OF THIS IS TO TELL US TO LIVE AS SUCH, THAT IS, TO HAVE PURE AND STRAIGHT EYES DIRECTED TOWARDS HEAVEN AND ETERNITY SO THAT WE WOULD ALWAYS BE MINDFUL OF FEARING GOD AND KEEPING OURSELVES PURE. WHEN THE INNER SPIRITUAL EYE IS FULLY FORMED AND MATURES, IT GRANTS THE PERSON HOLY CONTROL OVER HIS PHYSICAL EYE ON THE ONE HAND AND GRANTS HIM SPIRITUAL INSIGHT (1JOHN 5:20) ON THE OTHER HAND. WHEN THE BIBLE REFERS TO THE MOUTH WHICH IS FULL OF CURSING AND BITTERNESS (ROMANS 3:13-14); IT IS ACTUALLY DRAWING OUR ATTENTION TO THE NEED TO CLEANSE AND PURIFY OUR LIPS AND OUR WORDS. _THIS REQUIRE A CERTAIN STRENGTHENING WHICH WE RECEIVE WHEN WE ACQUIRE THE MOUTH AND LIPS OF THE MATURE INNER MAN. AS A RESULT, WE WOULD BE AS CHRIST: NOR WAS ANY DECEIT IN HIS MOUTH (ISAIAH 53:9). ALSO, WHEN THE BIBLE TALKS ABOUT THE HANDS OR THE FEET (ISAIAH 59:7; ROMANS 3:15), IT DRAWS OUR ATTENTION TO THE NEED FOR PURIFICATION SO THAT GOD MAY USE US (PSALM 15:1-3; PSALM 24:3-6). THIS LEADS TO THE MANIFESTATION OF CHRISTS IMAGE IN US, SINCE OUR INNER MAN IS THE GRACE OF THE NEW LIFE WHICH WE HAVE RECEIVED FROM CHRIST AND IN HIM. BEING CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON (ROMANS 8:29; GALATIANS 4:19) IS THE ULTIMATE PURPOSE OF THE SPIRITUAL LIFE FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. ROMANS 8:29 29* For those he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.v GALATIANS 4:19 19My children, for whom I am again in labor until Christ be formed in you!k THE VERSES THAT CORRESPOND TO THESE PURPOSES WERE THEN COLLATED AND CLASSIFIED INTO SECTIONS - A TASK THAT REQUIRED A LOT OF TIME - SO THAT THESE VERSES MAY BE PROCLAIMED ON EACH OF THE MEMBERS OF THE INNER MAN ACCORDING TO THE VARIOUS NEEDS. WHEN THE FRUITS OF PROCLAIMING THESE VERSES WERE MANIFESTED AND IT WAS THUS TIME TO SHARE THEM WITH OTHERS, THEY BORE FRUITS IN THE LIVES OF MANY PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT NATIONALITIES. THUS, THEY WERE TRANSLATED INTO DIFFERENT LANGUAGES. I PRAY THAT THE LORD MAY USE THIS FOR THE GLORY OF HIS NAME. THE PROPHESYING WHICH IS AVAILABLE TO ANY BELIEVER IS ONLY THAT WHICH IS RELATED TO HIS OWN LIFE BECAUSE THE HOLY SPIRIT DWELLS IN HIM AND HAS ANOINTED HIM. AS FOR THE PHRASES DICTATED TO THE PROPHET, THEY ARE ACTUALLY GODS PHRASES, THAT IS, THE VERSES OF THE BIBLE.
