Vocation Fair...... heheheh just like Job fair. They have so many booths with the different religious institutes. They call it a vocations fair because that’s exactly what it is. There are bandstands, and hot dog stands,, churros ( which laura went crazy over ) and roundabouts and swings and bungee jumps. And for the more romantically inclined there are even swan-shaped boats on an artificial lake, but most of all there are vocation stands, over a hundred of them spread out across a leafy suburban Rio park, Quinta de Boa Vista. Just like a Job Fair ( hehehehe ) It‘s like a who’s who of religious institutes and ecclesial communities. Everything from the Jesuits, Franciscans and Dominicans, to the Discalced Sisters etc..... We even saw a bunch if not mistaken capuchin priest singing and dancing. What a way to market their institute / order. But as u come to the middle of the place you will see many confessional booth around with pilgrims doing confession.
