WE ARE HEIRS OF GOD IN CHRIST THAT HAS OBTAINED A GREAT INHERITANCE. Gal:4:4-7: But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law,To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted {and} have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as Gods sons]. And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father! Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir by the aid of God, {through Christ.} BEING HEIRS OF GOD IN CHRIST, WE ARE TO RECEIVE OUR INHERITANCE IN CHRIST FINISHED WORK OF HIS SACRIFICIAL ATONING SACRIFICE.Eph:1:3-5;10-12: May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us {in Christ} with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm! Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, {even} above reproach, before Him in love.For He foreordained us (destined us, planned in love for us) to be adopted (revealed) as His own children through Jesus Christ, in accordance with the purpose of His will [because it pleased Him and was His kind intent]-- [He planned] for the maturity of the times {and} the climax of the ages to unify all things {and} head them up {and} consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth.In Him we also were made [Gods] heritage (portion) {and} we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel {and} design of His [own] will,So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory! Rom:8:14-17: For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God. And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. FOR EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVES IN CHRIST, HAS BEEN GIVEN THE POWER OF SONSHIP OF GOD. JOHN:1:12-13: But to as many as did receive {and} welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name--Who owe their birth neither to bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!] 1John:5:1-4: EVERYONE WHO believes (adheres to, trusts, and relies on the fact) that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah) is a born-again child of God; and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him (His offspring).By this we come to know (recognize and understand) that we love the children of God: when we love God and obey His commands (orders, charges)--[when we keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and His teaching]. For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous). For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. IT WILL TAKE US FOR ETERNITY TO GRASP THE REVELATIONAL KNOWLEDGE OF OUR INHERITANCE IN CHRIST. EPH:1:17-19: [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him, By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know {and} understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable {and} unlimited {and} surpassing greatness of His power in {and} for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength Eph:3:16-20: May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened {and} reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love {and} founded securely on love, That you may have the power {and} be strong to apprehend {and} grasp with all the saints [Gods devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it]; [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over {and} above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]-- THE MOMENT WE ARE BORN AGAIN IN CHRIST, THE OLD NATURE OF POVERTY IS OBSOLETE, AND THE NEW NATURE OF PROSPERITY IS MADE AVAILABLE, AND WILL BE BROUGHT TO FRUITION THROUGH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. 2Cor:5:16-17: Consequently, from now on we estimate {and} regard no one from a [purely] human point of view [in terms of natural standards of value]. [No] even though we once did estimate Christ from a human viewpoint {and} as a man, yet now [we have such knowledge of Him that] we know Him no longer [in terms of the flesh]. Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh {and} new has come! Eph:4:22-24: Strip yourselves of your former nature [put off and discard your old unrenewed self] which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts {and} desires that spring from delusion; And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude], And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in Gods image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness. THROUGH OUR NEW BIRTH EXPERIENCE IN CHRIST, WE ARE MADE FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF GOOD WORKS OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER WHICH IS IN PROSPERITY OF GOOD LIVES AND NOT IN ABJECT OF POVERTY. EPH:2:10 For we are Gods [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. WE BECAME AN INHERITANCE OF FORTUNE THE MOMENT WE HAVE THE EXPERIENCE OF THE NEW BIRTH THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. GAL:3:13-14:Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified); To the end that through [their receiving] Christ Jesus, the blessing [promised] to Abraham might come upon the Gentiles, so that we through faith might [all] receive [the realization of] the promise of the [Holy] Spirit.3:29 And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abrahams Seed], then you are Abrahams offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise. CHRIST HAS TAKEN AWAY THE POVERTY ATTRIBUTED TO THE SINFUL OLD NATURE, AND THROUGH CHRIST, WE HAVE A NEW NATURE THAT IS ENRICHED BY HIM. 2Cor:8:9 For you are becoming progressively acquainted with {and} recognizing more strongly {and} clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).9:8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always {and} under all circumstances {and} whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]. OUR NEW BIRTH IN CHRIST IS FOR AN ETERNAL GLORY TO THE PRAISE OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHERS NAME. 1Pet:1:3-7: Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [Born anew] into an inheritance which is beyond the reach of change {and} decay [imperishable], unsullied and unfading, reserved in heaven for you, Who are being guarded (garrisoned) by Gods power through [your] faith [till you fully inherit that final] salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time [You should] be exceedingly glad on this account, though now for a little while you may be distressed by trials {and} suffer temptations, So that [the genuineness] of your faith may be tested, [your faith] which is infinitely more precious than the perishable gold which is tested {and} purified by fire. [This proving of your faith is intended] to redound to [your] praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is revealed. ALL THESE INHERITANCE WE HAVE IN CHRIST WILL ONLY BE MADE MANIFEST THROUGH THE SUFFICIENCY OF THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND NOT IN OF OURSELVES EFFORT STRIVING THROUGH RELIGIOUS RUDIMENT TRADITION DOCTRINES OF MERE MEN WRITTEN CODE. 2Cor:3:5 Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments {or} to claim {or} count anything as coming from us, but our power {and} ability {and} sufficiency are from God.3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His {very own} image in ever increasing splendor {and} from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.4:7 However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur {and} exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.
