WELCOME TO MY FAMILY... There is a place for you here! :) Please feel free to hop on over for a cup of coffee while we are recovering from surgery, because there is a place for you at our table and I will be in need of good conversation! This morning I (Tracy) need to share from my heart... Weve been through a lot in the past 7 years, but most people have, so much change! My most current trial is the most gut-wrenching for me, that is, the spinal fusion surgery of my 16 year old daughter, Rachel, that will take place tomorrow. Im very emotional, and yet I feel so comforted in my waiting for tomorrow morning, and its not just because my home is already cleaned, laundry done, groceries purchased and full tank of gas. I feel as if something almost MAGICAL happened yesterday at church when our church family prayed for us. Yesterday was different for me... something is changing like that in the beginning of the Mary Poppins movie, the season is changing, the brisk wind is blowing and the leaves are dancing to the ground - there is a stirring in the heavenlies, can you feel it? I was so moved by the kindness of Christina Stratton to take my girl shopping in the mall, by Mary K Fischer for listening to my hurting heart and planning meals for us, by Dianne Horman reciting Phillipians 4:6 & 7 over me and coming against the spirit of fear. I was touched by Miriam Ortiz just coming and sitting by me, by Allison Spring, Margaret Munoz, Rebecca Bailey and so many others with words of love and kindness, and Tony and Maria Garcia having us over for dinner and praying for us. Lisa Jennings, my new prayer partner and friend, and of course, those who prayed for us at the 10 a.m. service yesterday at The Church On The Way Santa Clarita. There is a revival stirring in our midst and its called family unity. If you think too hard about it you just might miss it! Acts 2:42-47; verse 44 says, And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had... Its not about money, its about love, time, kindness and the gentleness God has put into each ones heart for one another, and later, vs. 47 says, all the while while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. Thank you for loving us!
