If Jesus is to return any day now then what about Elijah? The religious world seems to be searching for some way to give Elijah a private funeral and say (“may he rest in peace’’) but it will never happen in real life. Elijah is going to give them a public funeral and bring an end to the false religion of this age (“and Elijah said unto thee take the prophets of baal LET NOT ONE OF THEM ESCAPE and they took them and Elijah brought them down to the brrok kishon and slew there. 1st king 18:40 ELIJAH IS THE CHARIOT OF ISRAEL 2 king 2:12 Elijah is my father my father so this declares him to be both a natural and spiritual father or both man and god. Israel is god’s son. Who can carry god’s son but god only. Exod:4:22. Elijah is the horseman thereof 2nd king 2:11 this identifies him as the one who carries Israel and also the mover of lsrael. He will reprove the world of sin st john16:8 he will reprove the world of righteousness st john 16:10 as jesus was preparing to leave this earth he could not leave this church without a comforter. So he told the church they shall receive ANOTHER COMFORTER- JOHN 14:16. HE WILL GUIDE YOU into all truth st john 16:13. He is ruler over all god’s good. Matt. 24:44-47. ELIJAH will restore all things. St john 17:10:11 john the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah. St luke 1:17 The prophet ElISHA was also in the spirit and power of Elijah. 2 kings 2:9-10 and all the prophets beginning from Samuel and those that following after as many as have spoken have likewise foretold of these day. ACTS 3:24 “and it shall come to pass that every soul which shall not hear that prophet shall be destroyed from among the people.
