He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. Psalm 91:14,15 KJV Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. Matthew 22:36-40 Jesus is quoting from Deuteronomy: Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. Deuteronomy 6:4-6 NKJV In the Word of God, Loving the Lord is the number one priority; even over and above loving your neighbour as yourself! Meditate on the above Scriptures very seriously! God has great treasures for those who love Him; such that eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, or minds conceived - and He treasures them! With this, I cannot see how Gods Love can be unconditional; because clearly, God has an expectation for all believers - indeed all humans to Love Him as a matter of priority! Not only are we to love Him, but also to keep His Commands; so to receive His Love and Blessings! We are to love Him with all our strength, heart, passion, our everything! We are to learn and master His Words and Commandments and teach them to our children so His Love and Blessings for us and our children can endure from generation to generation! Help us o Lord to Love You like You want us to in Jesus Name. Please Touch our hearts in Jesus Name. Amen!!! But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? Show me the coin used for paying the tax. They brought him a denarius, and he asked them, Whose image is this? And whose inscription? Caesars, they replied. Then he said to them, So give back to Caesar what is Caesars, and to God what is Gods. When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away. Matthew 22:18-22 (NIVUK) The Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ is the Spirit of Prophesy! Who does not know that that same Spirit is the Spirit of the Living God? Yet, some still doubt the Lordship and Godhead of Jesus Christ! Hmmm! May God Help us indeed to be wise to know Him and the Power of His resurrection! Jesus Christ Knew their hearts and what they were up to and He always had a Word for them and they never overcame Him; nor were they ever able to trap Him like they planned to! Father, Give us wisdom to be more like Jesus in every way; in thoughts, words and deeds in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (23) gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (24) And those who are Christs have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Galatians 5:22-24 The fruits of the Spirit are the same as the fruits of Love; because essentially Love is synonymous with the Spirit! God is Love and God is Spirit! If you claim to be in Jesus Christ, then you must be sure to crucify your flesh with its passions and desires! Have you? What I see today is the free reign of the fleshly passions and desires amongst those who vehemently proclaim to be in the Christian faith!
