WHERE IS YOUR TREASURE – PART 2 “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24 I greet you friends in the Wonderful Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen Money can bless us and it can curse us. Im going to be very real with you. Money can come from God and it can come from the devil. If you are doing something that causes conviction in your spirit for money, then its probably not godly. If you are using credit cards and high interest to get something, then its not a good blessing. If you are buying personal luxuries and cant pay your rent or utilities, then you are being foolish. Understand that your treasure must be given by God and acquired by His plan. God has a plan for you to make money and get money from men. But you have to be a good steward over it and not be a slave to it. I know people that do things that even cause them to lie and cheat for money, and then get up in church and dance, calling it a blessing. God forbid. There are only 2 ways to get money, a right way and a wrong way. Where is your money coming from? Money can deceive you into believing that it is from God. People will do things and then say God told them to do it, all along doing it for the money. Make sure you disciplined before your WANTS throws you into debts. Dont be a slave to money and dont allow money to guide you. There are only 2 real gods that the Bible talks about anyway. The God of all gods and Mammon! Mammon is money and the love of money is the root of all evil. Therefore, we must learn to get money, but through God. He said if we seek Him and His kingdom, He will add money to us. So, here are some things you need to do before you pray another prayer about money. 1. Stop praying for money! Thats not scriptural! You must give to get money. 2. Seek God for your spiritual gift and your natural abilities He put in you, and then you will find where you can be most productive. 3. Stop listening to and watching money chasing sermons and preachers all the time and join yourself to ministries that are soul focused and not money focused! 4. Seek God and not riches. Allow him to be your focus and be Christ driven, not occupation driven. 5. Rebuke the spirit of poverty off your home, your family and your finances. Do this until you see results, not just once! God will bless you and prosper you in due season, but there are some things that you must do to prepare for it. Keep your treasure in heaven and you will prosper in the earth. To be continued ….
