WHY IS THERE A FALSE DOCTRINE MAKING BELIEVERS BELIEVE THAT THERE IS JUST ONE ANTICHRIST TO FOCUS ON WHEN THE WORD SAYS OTHERWISE? Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. - 1 John 2:16-25 SO THERE ARE MANY ANTICHRISTS AND THEY WERE PRESENT IN THE WORLD WHILE CHRIST WAS STILL WALKING THE EARTH. IN THE ABOVE SCRIPTURE, THE ANTICHRISTS WERE PART OF THE CONGREGATION BUT THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN THE FAITH. SPECIFICALLY THOSE WHO DENIED THAT CHRIST WAS THE MESSIAH, HE THAT DENIES THE FATHER AND THE SON. THEY ARE ALSO THOSE WHO LOVE THE WORLD AND ALL ITS FLESHLY PLEASURES MORE THAN THE FAITH. WE HAVE AN EXAMPLE OF THIS IN SCRIPTURE. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. - Matthew 19:20-22 WE ALWAYS PICTURE THE ANTICHRIST AS THIS HORRIBLE CREATURE, BUT HE OR SHE LOOKS JUST LIKE US. AT ONE TIME, WE ALL HAVE BEEN ONE. WHAT ELSE MAKES US AN ANTICHRIST? I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. - 2 John 1:4-11 ACCORDING TO THIS SCRIPTURE, WHOEVER DENIES THAT CHRIST CAME IN THE FLESH IS A DECEIVER AND AN ANTICHRIST. AND AGAIN, PLEASE NOTE IT STATES THERE ARE MANY DECEIVERS THAT HAD ALREADY ENTERED THE WORLD WHILE CHRIST WALKED THE EARTH. SO HOW CAN THERE BE SO MANY ANTICHRISTS? Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. - 1 John 4:1-6 THERE ARE MANY ANTICHRISTS BECAUSE THERE IS A SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST. THIS ANTICHRIST SPIRIT DOES NOT CONFESS THAT CHRIST CAME IN THE FLESH. THE SPIRIT OF GOD/THE MOST HIGH IS THE SPIRIT THAT CONFESSES THAT CHRIST CAME IN THE FLESH. PLEASE STUDY THIS FOR YOURSELF. I WILL GIVE YOU A HINT, ALL COVENANTS REQUIRED BLOOD AND ALL SACRIFICES AS WELL. I SUGGEST 1 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15 AND THE LAWS OF SACRIFICE/OFFERINGS AND YOU CANNOT FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS WITHOUT GOING INTO THE OLD TESTAMENT, STARTING WITH LEVITICUS CHAPTERS 1&2. THE BOOK OF HEBREWS IS ALSO A MUST. BUT FROM GENESIS TO REVELATION, YOU WILL FIND PLENTY OF EDIFICATION. STUDY FOR YOURSELVES. THAT LEAVES A BIG QUESTION FOR US. SINCE THE BIBLE DOES NOT STATE THAT THERE IS ONE ANTICHRIST, WHO GAVE US THIS FALSE DOCTRINE? PERHAPS SOMEONE WITH THE ANTICHRIST WHO WANTS US TO FOCUS ON ONE BOOGEY MAN INSTEAD OF LOOKING IN THE MIRROR TO EXAMINE OURSELVES TO SEE IF WE ARE THE VERY BOOGEYMEN AND WOMEN WE ARE TRYING TO IDENTIFY. MEANWHILE, THIS IS WHAT SCRIPTURE SAYS: That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition - 2 Thessalonians 2:2-3 THE MAN OF SIN, THE SON OF PERDITION THAT IS AN INDIVIDUAL.
