WOW ! Columbia was on fire tonight. The bombs were bursting in the air tonight. With the center-stage being just out the back door at about two oclock, the whole city seemed to be celebrating tonight like it was their last chance all around us the sky was lit up. I dont think I have even seen anything like that before. This neighborhood is the place to be on this night. I do have a funny story that started the night. Ronnie Adkins Jr. decides to cook out on the gas grill. Turns out the line was cracked so Jeffery Helms volunteers to fix it. LOL While he was putting duct tape around the line someone off a ways lit what sounded like a bomb ! LOL Jeffery jumped back I bet three feet, and he was on his knees when the blast reached us. If freaked Ronnie and I out too, For a split second we are all thinking what just happened. Poor ole Jeffery is still a bundle of nerves. All in all it has been a pretty good day. Missing a few this go round. Did pick up a few chigger bites today it seems.But I got the stuff this time. Hope you all are a-okay and have a great rest of the evening.
