WTSA morning news is brought to you by Brattleboro Savings & Loan - Member FDIC Brattleboro police have not released the names of those involved with a weekend fatal accident. Just before 8 P M Saturday. A 17 year old male reportedly was pronounced dead at the scene of the 745 P M crash on Bonnyvale Road, and a female passenger was airlifted to the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Police have not released a cause for the crash. Federal regulators have accepted a correction plan for the Brattleboro Retreat. Retreat Vice President , Konstantin Von Krusenstiern says they were notified by the federal center for Medicare and Medicaid services late Friday. The plan keeps the Retreat eligible to accept federal Medicare and Medicaid funding, that had been at risk because of the findings of several recent compliance surveys. A regional supermarket chain that has stores in New Hampshire is getting back on it’s feet, after a feud among owners and a revolt by workers. Ousted CEO Arthur T. Demoulas returned to Market Basket after making an offer of more than $1.6 billion in late August to buy out the part of the company controlled by his cousin. The chain says it will add five new stores in the coming months. As part of Keene’s water main rehabilitation program, Renaud Bros. Construction, will be working on the Winchester Street Bridge at Ashuelot River starting today. The project is expected to be completed by November 7th. Winchester Street will remain open to traffic while work is being done. Motorists are asked to avoid this area if possible and/or expect delays.
