WalMart update: The store mgr., Adriana Lopez, called this - TopicsExpress

WalMart update: The store mgr., Adriana Lopez, called this evening & we talked cordially for about 15 min. Below are the points she wanted to make known. This post is not a direct attack on her...this is a follow-up. As I have said all along, the pictures told the story. 1. She was on medical leave & returned a few weeks ago. 2. She apologized & said the condition of the store was not acceptable. Many of the areas high-lighted in my pics have been scrubbed & cleaned. (I feel this is a great start.) 3. I was told I should not have brought up the issues in the way that I did. Customers should come in & talk to her personally. Store associates were offended by my pictures. They are not allowed to say anything on social media according to Walmart policies, but they think I was wrong to do so. (I would post the pictures again.) 4. Thorough inspections are done on a monthly basis, w/o warning, & by outside people. 5. Floor equipment is down (they are waiting on that). 6. They are understaffed. 7. She felt like it was a personal attack. 8. Other stores (not just Walmart) have rodent problems. She is not aware of any roach activity. 9. We need to work together. 10. Staffing is a problem in Brenham 11. It is an old store. I told Adriana it was not a personal attack, & that I didnt even know who the manager was until I walked out of the store on the night of 12/29/14. I asked how the store reached such a level of uncleanliness if monthly inspections are done. Also, I passed on the information that plenty of complaints were made during the year. I THINK WE CAN COUNT ON A CLEANER STORE. AGAIN, THIS IS NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK ON ADRIANA LOPEZ. I APPRECIATE HER PHONE CALL. I THINK WE ALL WANTED ANSWERS.
